Vinous Tasting Note

The 2024 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru had been racked two weeks prior to my visit. This has a fragrant nose with white peach, grapefruit and light cotton scents. Fine delineation. The palate is very well balanced with a simmering richness that is very seductive. Impressive weight, a veneer of vanilla and almond that will be subsumed with time yet there is still impressive delineation on the spicy finish. One of the famous hill's finer contributions to the vintage.
