Spotlight: Chateau Cheval Blanc
Château Cheval Blanc, a Premier Grand Cru Classé A from Saint-Émilion, embodies a Bordeaux legend. Once linked to Figeac, this estate has asserted its own identity, notably through a bold blend in which Cabernet Franc reveals an intense expression. Owned by figures such as Albert Frère and Bernard Arnault, Cheval Blanc continues its pursuit of excellence, combining tradition and modernity at the heart of its facilities.
The wines of Cheval Blanc are renowned for their aromatic complexity and ageing potential, promising a memorable tasting experience. It is said that the château’s name refers to a remarkable white horse that once stood at a former coaching inn. In addition to its iconic Saint-Émilion, the estate also produces Le Petit Cheval, a more accessible interpretation of this exceptional terroir.
