Albert Grivault

Albert Grivault

At Albert Grivault, the white wines of Meursault offer a rich texture and beautiful balance. They feature an ample body, supported by mineral freshness and fine tannins. The aromatic profile is often complex, with notes of dried fruits, citrus, and white flowers. The finish on the palate is persistent, a sign of significant aging potential, particularly in the Premiers Crus Clos des Perrières and Perrières.

Château history

A 6-hectare estate established by Albert Grivault in 1879, now managed by his descendants. Over 5 hectares of white wines across four appellations: Bourgogne Blanc, Meursault village, Meursault Perrières (1er cru), and Meursault Clos des Perrières (1er cru), a one-hectare monopole of the estate. Wines of rare quality: exceptional elegance, aromatic complexity, and persistence. One red wine: Pommard Clos Blanc (1er cru), an AOC neighboring the Epenots.
