Champagne Pierre Peters

At Champagne Pierre Peters, we appreciate the frank vinosity and balance of our cuvées. The texture is precise, carried by a vibrant acidity and chalky tannins. L'Esprit offers a pure expression of Chardonnay, while Les Chétillons stands out for its complexity and length. An evident aging potential reveals itself in these gastronomic champagnes.

Château history

The Pierre Peters estate is an essential name in the Côte des Blancs, firmly rooted in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger. The history of this family estate began in 1919, when Camille Peters, having arrived from Luxembourg, married a local woman and established himself as a winemaker. He acquired his first plots of land and began crafting his own champagnes.
The estate gradually expanded over the generations. In the 1940s, Georges Peters, Camille’s son, took up the torch. He continued to enlarge the vineyard and undertook the modernization of the facilities. However, it was his son, Jean Peters, who marked a decisive turning point for the house. Starting in the 1970s, he refined the style of the champagnes, prioritizing the expression of the terroir and finesse. Today, Charles Peters, representing the fourth generation, is at the head of the estate. The vineyard spans 19 hectares, planted exclusively with Chardonnay and spread across the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Avize, and Cramant.
