Domaine Nicole Lamarche offers red Burgundy wines often characterized by a silky texture and fine tannins. They strike a beautiful balance between substance and freshness, with a complex aromatic expression. The wines, particularly those from Vosne-Romanée, offer an elegant and persistent palate. Their aging potential is undeniable, promising favorable evolution in the cellar.
Domaine Nicole Lamarche, anchored in Vosne-Romanée, is a family estate whose history dates back to the end of the 18th century. Located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, this estate spans just over ten hectares.
The history of the estate is marked by transmission from generation to generation, perpetuating traditional winemaking expertise. Among the estate's jewels are prestigious Grands Crus such as Clos de Vougeot, Échezeaux, and Grands Échezeaux, as well as the monopole La Grande Rue—a vineyard of just over one and a half hectares elevated to Grand Cru status in 1992, ideally situated between the illustrious Romanée-Conti and La Tâche. Since 2006, Nicole Lamarche, granddaughter of Henri Lamarche, has taken the reins of the estate. Under her leadership, the domaine has undertaken a transition toward organic and biodynamic viticultural practices, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental respect and the preservation of the terroir.
