REBOURSEAU Henri Chambertin Grand cru 2023

Blended with 15% whole bunch, the 2023 Chambertin Grand Cru is more expressive on the nose than the Clos de Bèze. It has great terroir expression and complexity. The palate is well balanced, pure and sensual with svelte tannins, a keen line of acidity and satisfying grip and structure toward the finish. Very persistent, this is a far superior Chambertin compared to the 2022.

The 2023 Chambertin Grand Cru is also attractive, revealing aromas of sweet dark berries, orange zest, rose petals and cinnamon, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, velvety and vibrant palate. A touch more elegant and understated than the Clos de Bèze, but not as persistent, the two are close in quality.
