In 1990 Doisy-Daene produced 100 cases of a sensational luxury cuvee called l'Extravagant. It possesses considerable botrytis, awesome extract levels and intensity, and despite massive power, remarkable balance. Readers are unlikely to find any of this wine (bottled in a heavy 375 ml bottle) outside Bordeaux.
