In 2006, Les Hauts de Pontet-Canet revealed a very beautiful evolution where the classic structure of Pauillac began to delicately soften. This second wine now delivers notes of black cherry and sweet pepper, complemented by the first aromas of noble undergrowth. The palate is distinguished by its silky texture and a pleasant preserved freshness, confirming the excellent condition of this bottle after two decades in the cellar.
