La Rectorie, Banyuls-sur-Mer
Our family has its roots in Puig del Mas, Banyuls. Puig translates to hill in English. Located less than a kilometer from the sea, and more inclined towards the mountain than the sea, it is the Banyuls of the winemakers.
Three Parcé families from our lineage operate in three autonomous houses:
- The Domaine de La Rectorie (the origins) in Banyuls. It is managed by Thierry Parcé and his son Jean-Emmanuel. Thierry has been making wine since 1984 and has trained the younger generation.
- "Les Vins Parcé-Frères". This is a commercial brand and a range of wines from different appellations distributed by Marc Parcé since 2010. This brand represents the wines of La Rectorie and La Préceptorie to professionals.
- La Préceptorie de Centernach in Maury. Established in 2001 for our children, this Domaine is now independent of La Rectorie. The younger generation for whom we created this Domaine is now solely in charge. Joseph Parcé, Marc's son, manages this house.
