Vinous Tasting Note

The 2021 Pinot Gris Zellberg, from Triassic sandstone, was fermented and aged in used pièce . Smooth, fruity smoke hovers above peach compote on the nose. The nose is still rather closed, but the palate offers smooth, flowing, bright freshness, all buffered, all smoothed in greengage and Reine Claude plum juiciness with a lovely, long lemon finish. This strikes a great balance. (Bone-Dry)
