Vinous Tasting Note

The 2023 Côtes du Jura Blanc Chardonnay de la Reculée comes from a north-facing Liassic limestone site and aged on the lees for 18 months in 228-litre barrels. Aromas of lemon flesh, green apple and stone dust are layered with flinty notes, pastry and cedar. While I marginally prefer the 2022, the 2023 remains an accomplished expression of this cuvée.
