    Vinous Tasting Note

    (made from vines in the Fourvier lieu-dit , in the Côte Brune): Brilliant ruby. Heady, mineral-laced dark berry and violet pastille scents show outstanding purity and lift, picking up a smoky mineral nuance with air. Juicy and penetrating in the mouth, offering intense spice- and smoke-tinged boysenberry, cherry cola and apricot flavors given spine and lift by juicy acidity. Finishes sweet, seamless and extremely long, with an echo of candied violet; velvety, harmonious tannins make a late appearance.
