About the Producer

Domaine Vaisse, a rising star of the Languedoc, shines from the village of Puéchabon. The estate’s history is recent, yet already marked by the influence of Pierre Vaïsse, whose path has crossed with iconic figures such as Frédéric Pourtalié of Moncalmès and Laurent Vaillé of La Grange des Pères. The wines of Domaine Vaisse are distinguished by their vibrant fruit, great purity, and a particularly seductive balance. The aging process, conducted with care, contributes to the complexity and finesse of the red wines. Among the flagship cuvées, one happily finds L'Aphyllante, a powerful and profound red wine that serves as a true signature of the estate. Le Galibaou du Russe, a harmonious blend of Syrah and Mourvèdre, wonderfully illustrates the potential of the Puéchabon terroir. It is said that the name of this cuvée refers to a former Russian owner who fell under the spell of these Languedoc lands. The estate also offers other cuvées such as Les Garrigues, Pitchot, and Pur, thus providing a beautiful palette of Languedoc expressions. An address to discover for lovers of authentic and expressive wines. Among the most sought-after cuvées are Domaine Vaisse Galibaou du Russe, Domaine Vaisse 'Les Garrigues', and Domaine Vaisse L'Aphyllante—useful benchmarks for understanding the house's identity.
