The 2023 Haut-Marbuzet is terrific. Dark, vibrant and quite virile in its expression, the 2023 Haut-Marbuzet has so much to offer. Plum, blood orange, pomegranate, spice and new leather are some of the notes that leap from the glass. Today, the 2023 is quite primary in its intensity, yet all the elements are very nicely balanced. This is a fine showing.

This is super-refined and polished with great depth and richness, offering a mix of blueberry and deep dark chocolate that builds its captivating character. It shows impressive intensity and length, achieving a harmony that is both beautiful and elegant. The tannins are already well integrated. Long finish.

Always as charming and sensual as it was at the en primeur tastings, the 2023 Haut-Marbuzet reveals a bright, elegant and highly distinctive bouquet of lead pencil, licorice, truffle, cherries and spices. Medium- to full-bodied, layered and deep, it is built around a fleshy, seamless core of fruit framed by powdery tannins, concluding with an ethereal, precise and mineral finish.
