The 2021 Châteauneuf Du Pape Les Secrets De Pignan is shockingly good in the vintage and clearly one of the 2021 gems. Loads of kirsch liqueur, peppery garrigue, lavender, and sweet strawberry fruit jump from the glass, and it's medium to full-bodied with a silky, elegant mouthfeel, fine tannins, and a great finish. It brings way more depth and richness than just about every other wine out there and is well worth seeking out.
