Displays good sweetness but only moderate depth to its flavors of plum, spices and herbs. This attractive midweight turns drier on the back end, finishing with distinctly dusty tannins and a peppery nuance.

The 2016 Nuits-Saint-Georges Village displays attractive aromas of dark berries, grilled game, rich soil and dark chocolate. On the palate, it's medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated, with tangy acids and lots of fine-grained but youthfully chewy structure. Above all, the wine's liveliness and energy distinguish it.
