<b>Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine, in pursuit of authenticity</b>

Today, Domaine Dubreuil-Fontaine offers twenty appellations spread over about twenty hectares; this estate based in Pernand-Vergelesses is not lacking in scope. Although the vast majority of Dubreuil-Fontaine's wines are very grand reds (Corton, Pommard, Beaune ...), the estate also produces superb whites. Among them are the prestigious Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru.

The approximately 40-year-old vines produce very fine wines that can be enjoyed over several decades. With their beautiful personalities, they are among the references for Burgundy wines. The acquisition of thermoregulated stainless steel in the cellar reflects the search for aromatic purity. The harvest is done by hand.

History of the estate

<b>Five Generations</b>

The Dubreuil-Fontaine estate was established in 1879 by Pierre ARBINET. He then passed on the estate to his son-in-law, Julien DUBREUIL. The estate has remained in the family to this day. In 1977, the Rameau-Lamarosse house was incorporated into the estate. To keep up with technical progress, a new three-level winery was built in the 1980s.

For white wines, the estate owns plots in the Pernand-Vergelesses and Corton Charlemagne climates.

The red appellations are found in the climates of Pernand-Vergelesses, Aloxe Corton, Volnay, Pommard, Beaune, Savigny-les-Beaune, among others.

The estate is well-oriented towards exports, in Europe, the United States, and Asia. But also in smaller markets such as Brazil or Mexico.


<b>A Woman of Substance</b>

Since 1991, Christine DUBREUIL-FONTAINE (5th generation) has taken over the estate, following her father Bernard. She has been managing this estate, long considered the most famous in the village of Pernand-Vergelesses, for over 28 years. She demonstrates a real quest for quality in managing the estate.
