Vinous Tasting Note

The 2023 Pouilly-Fuissé La Croix comes from schist soils and underwent maturation in used barrels. It has a clean and precise bouquet, quite minerally, with touches of peach skin, candle wax and yeasty aromas. The palate is well balanced with an effective reduction on the entry and is very tensile, with a light oatmeal note on the back palate and moderate length on the finish. Again, this will require time, but there is a lot of potential.
