    Vinous Tasting Note

    The 2020 Savigny-lès-Beaune Lavière 1er Cru has far more focus and freshness on the nose compared to the Village Cru. Taut and fresh, blackcurrant and wild strawberry fruit mixed with dessicated orange peel segue into a fine palate that is well balanced with noticeable grip. It fans out towards its saline finish and kind of shows the Savigny Village how to do it. Very fine.
