Our personal selection: six wines we enjoy, ranging from a classified Saint-Julien to wines from producers in the South and the Jura.

• Château Lagrange 2019 — Saint-Julien · A Third Growth from a warm, generous vintage. Blackcurrant, cedar, and cigar box; tannins soft enough to enjoy tonight.
• Marsannay Clos du Roy 2023 — Sylvain Pataille · The winemaker who put Marsannay back on the Burgundy map. Wild raspberry and rose, with a liveliness that makes you empty the glass.
• Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2020 — Domaine de Marcoux · Pioneers of biodynamics, growing on the rounded pebbles typical of Châteauneuf. They store the sun’s energy all day and release it back to the vines at night, which is what gives this wine its depth without ever feeling heavy.
• Trousseau Les Gauthières 2023 — Pignier, Côtes du Jura · A rare Jura grape variety from a biodynamic estate: a light wine with notes of pepper and red fruit—and one that’s dangerously easy to finish.
• Cinsault 2025 — Domaine Hauvette, IGP Alpilles · Cinsault usually ends up in a blend or a rosé. Here, it carries the entire bottle: crisp, floral, and best served chilled. A cult name in the Alpilles.
• “G une révélation” 2023 — La Terrasse d’Élise, IGP Pays d’Hérault · Old vines, tiny yields—one of the most sought-after names in the Languedoc. Dark fruit, olive, and warm stone.
