About the Producer

Château de la Roulerie, in the heart of Anjou, is a family estate where a love for wine is combined with passion. The story took a new turn in 1996, when Bernard Germain acquired this 18th-century residence, surrounded by its vineyards. His son Philippe joined the adventure a few years later, instilling an innovative vision with the conversion of the estate to organic and biodynamic farming. Today, Philippe and his wife craft wines of remarkable indulgence and delicacy, which never fail to captivate enthusiasts. Château de la Roulerie particularly distinguishes itself in the production of great Anjou white wines, brilliantly revealing the potential of Chenin. We especially appreciate the Anjou Blanc Chenin Sec and Anjou "Magnolia" cuvées, vibrant expressions of this unique terroir. The estate also excels in Coteaux du Layon, with sweet wines of great aromatic richness, such as the Coteaux du Layon Chaume and Coteaux du Layon Chaume Les Aunis.
