Domaine de la Vougeraie, owned by the Boisset family, has established itself as an essential benchmark in Burgundy. Anchored in the heart of the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune, this wine estate showcases a remarkable range of terroirs. Biodynamic farming is practiced with great rigor, with the goal of exalting the purest expression of each plot. After being led by Pierre Vincent, Sylvie Poillot now directs the winemaking, crafting wines of rare elegance. Among the jewels of Domaine de la Vougeraie are magnificent interpretations of Grand Crus, notably in the Côte de Nuits with Musigny, Bonnes-Mares, and Charmes-Chambertin Les Mazoyeres. The estate also excels in the Côte de Beaune, with a high-flying Corton-Charlemagne and the rare monopole, Le Clos Blanc de Vougeot. The latter, a historical curiosity, was planted with Pinot Beurot (Pinot Gris) in the Middle Ages by the monks of Cîteaux, bearing witness to the region's long viticultural history.
