Based on 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc raised in new oak, the 2020 Château Milens has lots to like, exhibiting a deep ruby/purple hue, ample cassis and black raspberry-like fruits, medium-bodied richness, ripe tannins, and classic aromatics of chalky minerality, flowers, and spice box. This elegant, nicely balanced Saint-Emilion is perfect for drinking over the coming 10-12 years or more.

The 2020 Milens has a very ripe bouquet featurign layers of black cherry, juniper berries and light peppermint aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with quite firm tannins and low acidity. Rather static and lacking vivacity on the finish. The recently tasted 2018 was better.

Aromas of dark berries, licorice, raw cocoa and spices introduce the 2020 Milens, a medium to full-bodied wine with a velvety attack that segues into a chalky, youthfully grippy palate.
