Vinous Tasting Note

Good red-ruby. Distinctly purple aromas of blackberry and violet; a bit stunted by a recent sulfiting. Then sappy, perfumed and vibrant in the mouth, with terrific intensity to its complex dark fruit, wild herb and bitter chocolate flavors. Large-scaled, dense and powerful wine with superb energy and length. This cuvee was also a standout in 2009.
