En Primeur

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

This online sales website is exclusively intended for private customers.

1. PRICING

Our prices include French VAT and are subject to sale without obligation and while stocks last. The applicable VAT rate will be adjusted at the time of order according to the country of delivery.

The valid prices are those displayed at the time of ordering, as shown on our website (subject to error or omission). Our website is updated regularly (at least once a day, Monday to Friday); however, stock levels are not displayed in real time. En Primeur wines, regardless of the order amount, are sold ex-cellar (shipping costs: see Article 5 below).

2. PAYMENT METHODS

• Secure payment: credit card payments are secured via an online payment system compliant with SSL standards.

• Bank transfer: you may send us a payment via our partner bank. All banking details are provided during the checkout process when selecting your payment method.

• Other payment methods: Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal.

We reserve the right to request advance payment by bank transfer rather than credit card payment if deemed necessary for transaction security.

Orders are only confirmed once full payment has been received and finally accepted by us. In the event of stock shortage or non-availability, we will offer you a wine of similar quality and price. If preferred, we may also issue a refund for the unavailable product.

Upon receipt of payment, we will issue a reservation certificate, which alone constitutes order confirmation.

3. ORDERING

En Primeur wines may be ordered individually, subject to availability and allocations granted by the estates.

Orders placed outside standard case formats of 6 bottles, 3 magnums, or 12 half bottles will not include original wooden cases unless specifically requested. In such cases, original wooden case packaging is subject to the estate’s availability and may incur an additional charge.

For special format requests, please contact us in order to obtain a quotation including any applicable additional charges.

4. RELEASE AND DELIVERY OF WINES

We will notify you by email or postal mail when the wines are released (generally two years after the En Primeur campaign), and will issue an invoice including taxes, transport, and insurance for the goods in transit. Upon receipt of your final payment, we will ship your wines according to your instructions.

If, one year after the release of the wines, the buyer has not settled the outstanding balance, the number of bottles ordered may be reduced at the seller’s discretion in order to match the total invoiced amount delivered.

NB: shipment of En Primeur wines can only take place once all items in the order are available in our cellars.

We will store your wines free of charge for three months following their release. After this period, storage and insurance fees will apply. In the event of non-payment of storage fees, the goods may be retained by the seller until such fees are settled.

If the wines cannot be delivered for reasons beyond our control (producer liability, destruction of goods, serious quality issues, or any other reason making supply impossible), all amounts paid will be fully refunded.
