Domaine Vaisse, anchored in the terroir of Puéchabon, is a relatively recent property in the Languedoc wine landscape. It was Pierre Vaïsse who founded the estate and released his first vintage in 2007.
The story of Domaine Vaisse is one of a rapid ascent to recognition. Pierre Vaïsse, drawing inspiration from figures such as Frédéric Pourtalié of Domaine Montcalmès and Laurent Vaillé of La Grange des Pères, has successfully made his mark. The estate spans approximately fifteen hectares. Production is intentionally limited, favoring a qualitative approach where only select cuvées are chosen for bottling. The vineyard plantings highlight the region's traditional grape varieties, notably Syrah, Carignan, and Mourvèdre.
