Redcurrants, cassis, spicy oak, and floral notes are just some of the nuances in the 2022 Château Dauzac, a pure, medium to full-bodied Margaux that has terrific overall balance, nicely integrated tannins, and a great finish. It’s beautifully done and just another brilliant Margaux in the vintage that has so much to love.

The 2022 Dauzac is bolder on the nose compared to the Boyd-Cantenac, with blackberry and bilberry fruit, more prominent in terms of oak although that will be assimilated with bottle age. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit and a dash of soy on the mid-palate. Good depth towards the primal finish, this bodes well for the future.
