About the Producer

The Mas Conscience estate, rooted in Saint-Jean-de-Fos, is a beautiful family story dedicated to the expression of the Terrasses du Larzac. Founded by Geneviève and Laurent Vidal, it is now led by Roman Kocholl and Audrey Bonnet Koenig, who passionately perpetuate its singular spirit. Mas Conscience cultivates its vines using organic and biodynamic farming methods across a mosaic of exceptional terroirs between Puéchabon and Aniane. Mas Conscience wines are distinguished by a freshness and elegance that offer a pleasant contrast to the usual standards of the Terrasses du Larzac appellation. Among the flagship cuvées, one happily finds L'Eveil, a vibrant wine that captures the essence of the terroir, as well as the seductive "Cieux" in IGP Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert Languedoc. We also appreciate the reds, notably the Mas Conscience Terrasses du Larzac 'L'As' Rouge and the Mahatma, which testify to the richness and diversity of this endearing estate.
