About the Producer

The Mas de Daumas Gassac estate, nestled in the Languedoc hinterland, was born from a bold intuition. Véronique and Aimé Guibert, having fallen under the spell of a centuries-old farmhouse in the Gassac valley, dared to create an atypical vineyard there. It is said that they called upon geologist Henri Enjalbert, who discovered similarities in this terroir to the greatest Grands Crus of Burgundy. From this encounter, a unique style was born, immediately recognizable in the wines of Mas de Daumas Gassac. The Mas de Daumas Gassac red has become the estate's iconic signature, a wine of rare elegance. The Émile Peynaud cuvée, a tribute to the visionary oenologist who guided the estate's first steps, also bears witness to this quest for excellence. The adventure continues with the wines of Moulin de Gassac, a more accessible range that invites you to discover the flavors of the Languedoc. Among them, you will find the refreshing Moulin de Gassac 'Guilhem' Rosé, perfect for summer, and the fruity Moulin de Gassac 'Pont de Gassac' Red, ideal for everyday enjoyment. The estate also offers original creations, such as the festive Mas de Daumas Gassac 'Frizant' Rosé Mousseux.
